Why Our Web Design?
We ensure we have the web design tools needed to understand your business, if we know the business behind the site, we can exceed your expectations and objectives.
We make sure that:
• Your Website is Custom and Original, Something that Stands out from your Competitors.
• Customers should Immediately Find what they are looking for
• Your site should have a lot of "Call to Actions" (reasons for customer to Buy, Call or give you their Name and Phone Number). We believe a web site should be designed for the people who are to use it, not the company who is buying it. The simplicity of our web design approach is why we constantly get referrals from our clients.
• Once your Website is live, consider how you will Drive Customers to it. (Search Engines, Articles, Advertising, yellow page listing, etc.)
Usability
Usability is about how easy a websites interface is to use. A highly usable interface is easy to learn and recall, efficient, and has pleasant design.
With millions of websites out there including many of your competitors, if your website is not highly usable then why should a visitor stay at your site when they can simply go elsewhere? A potential client will leave your website if they encounter any difficulty in using it, whether that difficulty should be complex navigation or hard to find information.
At LIBERATED SYSTEMS we focus on creating user-friendly websites combining clear navigation, fast loading content and clean, attractive design.
Web Standards
LIBERATED SYSTEMS websites are developed to conform to the latest web standards, adopting World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) compliant (X)HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) code.
Developing with standards has many benefits:
Forward and backward compatibility
Standards ensure our websites will work as well tomorrow as they do today.
Reduces development time and eases maintenance
This not only helps to lower costs but also gives us more time to be creative.
Faster loading sites
Using standards produces cleaner, smaller code, which uses less bandwidth and makes the page load faster.
Greater accessibility
By complying with accessibility laws and guidelines, standards enable people with disabilities to be able to access the
content of your website.
Greater search engine visibility
Standards help make website pages more visible to search engines and allows them to index sites more accurately.
Support non-traditional devices
Standards enable more people to view your site by supporting hand-held devices such as PDA's, mobile phones and wireless gadgets.
Support multiple browsers
By supporting multiple browsers visitors can access your site regardless of the browser they use.
Companies that don't adhere to standards are restricting visitors to their site. This doesn't make any business sense, where denying access to even a small portion of your target audience could make a significant difference to your profit margin.
Understanding Web Design
Web design is the skill of creating presentations of content(usually hypertext or hypermedia) that is delivered to an end-user through the World Wide Web, by way of a Web browser .
The process of designing Web pages, Web sites, Web applications or multimedia for the Web may utilize multiple disciplines, such as animation, graphic design, interaction design, marketing, photography, languages (such as HTML, XHTML and XML) , Style sheet languages (such as CSS and XSL) , Client-side scripting (such as JavaScript) , Server-side scripting (such as PHP and ASP) , Database technologies (such as MySQL& PostgreSQL) and Multimedia technologies (such as Flash )
Web pages and Web sites can be static pages, or can be programmed to be dynamic pages that automatically adapt content or visual appearance depending on a variety of factors, such as input from the end-user, input from the Webmaster or changes (such as the site's associated database having been modified).
Static design
Static web design is best suited for sites that will not require updates often. They do not come equipped with the technics CMS™ Content Management System to easily make site updates like dynamic web design and are primarily used for companies that do not change their products, services, news, images, or content frequently. Static web design is usually the most cost effective route for companies that just need a corporate website, seasonal promotions. If you want a "set it and forget it" website or page then Static web design Is perfect. A static website doesn't have to be all simple you can have many add ons to make the web design more attractive such as a flash header and animated photo gallery etc.
Classical hypertext navigation, with HTML or XHTML alone, provides "static" content, meaning that the user requests a web page and simply views the page and the information on that page.
Dynamic design
Dynamic web Design allows the site administrator to control the site content and update it on the fly using the admin area which is user friendly, intuitive, and easily used to make site updates instantly. Dynamic web sites are designed, developed and coded to suit the specific requirements, to address the desired functionality for each unique project, utilizing dynamic database architecture, creative design, and custom web application integration.
Content (text, images, form fields, etc.) on a web page can change, in response to different contexts or conditions. There are two ways to create this kind of interactivity:
1- Using client-side scripting to change interface behaviors within a specific web page, in response to mouse or keyboard actions or at specified timing events. In this case the dynamic behavior occurs within the presentation.
2- Using server-side scripting to change the supplied page source between pages, adjusting the sequence or reload of the web pages or web content supplied to the browser. Server responses may be determined by such conditions as data in a posted HTML form, the type of browser being used, or a database or server state. The result of either technique is described as a dynamic web page, and both may be used simultaneously.
Web pages must use presentation technology. Client-side scripting languages like JavaScript or ActionScript, used for Dynamic HTML(DHTML) and Flash technologies respectively, are frequently used to orchestrate media types (sound, animations, changing text, etc.) of the presentation. The scripting also allows use of remote scripting, a technique by which the DHTML page requests additional information from a server. Web pages that adhere to the second definition are often created with the help of server-side languages such as PHP, Perl, ASP, ASP.NET, JSP, ColdFusion and other languages. These server-side languages typically use the Common Gateway Interface (CGI) to produce dynamic web pages. These kinds of pages can also use, on the client-side, the first kind (DHTML, etc.)
Content Management System (CMS)
A web-content-management system (WCMS or Web CMS) is content management system (CMS) software, usually implemented as a Web application, for creating and managing HTML content. It is used to manage and control a large, dynamic collection of Web material (HTML documents and their associated images). A WCMS facilitates content creation, content control, editing, and many essential Web maintenance functions. Usually the software provides authoring (and other) tools designed to allow users with little or no knowledge of programming languages or markup languages to create and manage content with relative ease of use.
Unlike Web-site builders like Microsoft FrontPage or Adobe Dreamweaver, a WCMS allows non-technical users to make changes to an existing website with little or no training. A WCMS typically requires an experienced coder to set up and add features, but is primarily a Web-site maintenance tool for non-technical administrators.
